The tool
How it works, what it tells you, what it doesn't.
The medication storage calculator tells you when to throw out an opened pen, vial, or reconstituted peptide. Pick your medication, enter the date you first used or reconstituted it, and choose refrigerated or room temperature. It returns your discard date, the days remaining, and the storage rule that applies. Windows are based on FDA prescribing information and USP beyond-use dating, for example 56 days for Ozempic after first use and 14 to 28 days for a reconstituted peptide kept cold.
